Prerequisities

USB flash drive (optional).

Setup persistent Android

1. Press round button MENU on RC.
2. Navigate to OTHERS section and ensure:
3. POWER MANAGEMENT: OFF
4. CONNECT AUTO INPUT SELECT: OFF
5. NO SIGNAL AUTO INPUT SEL.: OFF
6. Navigate to MONITOR section and ensure:
7. OPERATION MODE: MODE2
8. POWER SAVE MODE: OFF
9. OFF IF NO OPERATION: OFF
10. Navigate to SETUP section and ensure:
11. START INPUT MODE: APPLICATION
12. COMMUNICATION SETTING => RS232C/LAN: LAN
13. Go to Android Settings. On page Security ensure Unknown sources is checked.

Installation steps

Go to Android Browser, type in the address of latest APK at https://a.signageos.io/sharp (opens in a new tab), download it, install it from File Manager.

or

Plug in a USB stick with latest APK, install it from File Manager.

After the installation is finished short verification hash is displayed.
